Gotfryd Tomasz
Born in 1981, he studied in the Łódź film school. In his CV he lists the diverse jobs he has done, including that of an assistant to an entomologist specialising in catching common pine shoot beetle in pheromone traps, security guard, parking attendant, a painter of Kamasutra positions in a brothel and many others. Recently he has become more involved in photography.


He received a municipal art scholarship, won the award of the Fundacja Fotografia dla Przyszłości (Photographs for the Future Foundation) in an international competition called Fotoodlot. In 2007 he won the Grandprix for a documentary on Wola Duchacka (a part of Krakow), for his film entitled Camera obscura, enter at your own risk.


He has had numerous individual exhibitions including "Brainshoots" (London, 2005), "Krakowskie p-otwory" (as part of Photomonth in Krakow 2007) and "Nocne życie Krakowa" ("Night-life in Krakow", Krakow 2007).


As one of the photographers from Visavis.pl Photographers' Collective he has often published his works in the weeklies "Newsweek", "Tygodnik Powszechny", "National Geographic", "Przekrój", "Forbes", "Gala", "Sukces", "Elle" and "Twój Styl".
