Participants of the Photo 2012 Project are planning to file events related to and leading up to the EURO 2012 competition. They plan to document progress frame by frame, including not only the construction of stadiums, yet also to show how the general attitude changes towards sport by people who are as of yet uninterested in it.

The Visavis.pl Photographers’ Collective invites established photographers from Poland and the Ukraine, photography stars from around the world, and of course young and talented photographers. The effects of the wide-ranging plans for EURO 2012 will be displayed in open-air exhibitions in Poland and the Ukraine, and also in other European capitals.

The first presentation is already due to be released in 2008, with continuing photographic documentation available on the web page. When the players walk out on to the pitches to play in EURO 2012, the culmination of the project will be a photographic album.
