Ill-BRED
Modern architecture in Poland is commonly associated with interwar period - then the style developed, then the most recognizable buildings were erected. Nowadays many of them are historic monuments and are approved by people.

Completely different are perceived buildings constructed after The World War II. Although they do not differ from the interwar period architecture much, they are underestimated and disliked.

Why it is so? Because those buildings are dirty and neglected? Is there in Poland place for post-war modern architecture? Or the stigma of being 'ill-bred' in the Soviet period will forever decide its fate?

The aim of the project is to present the most interesting Polish post-war modern architecture and its values, current condition and the perception of observers and inhabitants.
